These rings are made of a special thermoplastic material that can stretch up to 100% and then return to the original size. These rings are soft enough to protect even 0.5mm thick sheet for non-ferrous coils and can be produced in the exact size to fit any mandrel. This provides an economical way to avoid redundant uncoiling of coils with different bore size.

Our Mandrel Expansion Rings expand and retract together with the mandrel safeguarding coils from damage. This mechanism addresses and mitigates common issues such as creasing, scratching, and marring, particularly at vulnerable points. Preventing metal-to-metal contact ensures that the inside wraps of the coils remain protected, ultimately preserving the integrity and quality of the material.
