Safety fencing is required to protect operators when the machine is running. For our print only machines this can be wire mesh panels. For 5 axis machining solid panels are required in case of tool breakage at high speed.
We include SINUMERIK Safety Integrated functions which enables us to provide Safe work Zone control to SIL 3. This enables one section of the machining area to be used for part set up while the other areas are used for machining. This is particularly useful for very large VSF systems.
